Are you looking for a supportive, creative space to explore your passions and connect with fellow creators & makers? We (The Locals) are thrilled to host the Ladies’ Art Club at the Scarborough Women’s Shed!
We believe in fostering a love of art through hands-on play and mutual support. Every scribble is celebrated, and every creative is welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced creators.
A New Creative Adventure Every Session: We keep the activities a secret, so every session is a delightful surprise! We might be:
- Dyeing fabric with real flowers, creating beautiful, organic designs.
- Mastering the fundamentals of light and shadow by building a classic camera and developing prints in our pop-up photo lab.
- Discovering the diverse ranges, grades, and uses of lead pencils to create stunning portraits.
- Learning to source, make, and paint with tempera paints, natural pigments and even create your own clays from Western Australia’s earth!
- Getting silly and breaking down expectations with Multi-Creator artworks.
