A New Creative Adventure Every Session: We keep the activities a secret, so every session is a delightful surprise!
Special Guest Host Spotlight: Meet Mellina
For this upcoming session, we are absolutely delighted to have the wonderful Mellina Vandervalk from Artisea hosting the space!
Mellina’s creative journey spans from studying sculpture at art school in Ireland to working alongside elite international creators at Art Basel in Switzerland. However, she quickly realised that pristine, exclusive galleries weren’t for her—because she firmly believes that art is for everyone.
After moving to Western Australia and immersing herself in nature and outdoor education, Mellina fell in love with the pure, unclouded joy of raw creativity. For Mellina, art and play are completely intertwined, and she uses the creative process as a beautiful form of mindfulness.
The Art of Slowing Down: Pen & Nature.
What if all you needed to be creative was a pen and a moment to pause?
Inspired by the patterns, shapes and rhythms of the natural world, this gentle, process-led workshop explores how simple lines and marks can become a meditative practice. Using only a pen and a few easy techniques, we’ll slow down, notice the details around us and let go of the pressure to create something perfect.
A reminder that creativity doesn’t need complicated materials or a plan. Sometimes, it’s simply about making space to breathe, reconnect and see the world a little differently.
Join our creative community and rediscover the joy of artistic play!
