Creative Makers, Big Imaginations, & Weekly Wonders: Welcome to the Makers & Me Art Club program
Forget the perfect final product. We’re all about the process of creation! Makers & Me Art Club is a weekly gathering where you and your child can engage in pure, unfiltered artistic exploration.
Hosted by The Locals at the Scarborough Women’s Shed, this is a dedicated, judgement-free space for our little ones and their carers. Come draw, paint, sculpt, and discover new textures together—without pressure or performance.
A New Adventure Every Week: We keep the activities a secret, so every session is a delightful surprise! We might be:
- Discovering the vibrant colours in nature by painting with pigments derived from plants.
- Creating beautiful, organic designs by dyeing fabric with real flowers.
- Letting loose with dynamic “painting with motion” techniques.
- Learning the fundamentals of light by building a classic camera from scratch.
