The Locals community exhibition pilot was a great success and a learning experience for The Locals. The theme is local — each artist shares their own take on what makes our area special, from the people and places we know so well, to the quiet beauty of our natural surroundings.
The open night was a blast, celebrating the launch with the Ocean Heroes charity fundraiser. Live music, great beverages, art and creative souls celebrated what we love about being local.
Over the weeks of exhibiting, several artists sold works, and we’ve sold almost 50% of our greeting card packs. An alternative earner for the artists.
Massive thank you to Oska from Livid Skate for all his support, and the artists who put up their hands to trial this idea with us.
