DESCRIPTION:Join us for a community indigo dip session with Carly from Rivarossa Botanicals\, hosted through The Locals\, on Saturday\, November 7th\, from 9am–12pm. \nFor just $30 per person\, drop in anytime during the session and give your old clothes a new lease on life with the beautiful blues of natural indigo! Maximum 5 items per ticket.  \nThis is a relaxed\, self-led workshop where you can experiment with dipping\, creating prints and patterns\, and transforming pieces you already own. Carly will be on hand to guide you through the dipping process\, offer tips and techniques\, and answer any questions along the way. \nWhat to bring:\nBring along clothing or textiles you’d love to refresh. Natural fibres such as cotton\, hemp\, linen and silk work best. Blended fabrics may also work\, depending on their fibre content\, but synthetic materials generally don’t take indigo dye as well. \nWhether you’re looking to refresh an old T-shirt\, add patterns to a favourite piece or simply have a go at something new\, everyone is welcome! \nLet’s get creative\, give our clothes a second life and bring a little more blue to our community. \nCome and help us make Scarborough Blue! \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n  URL:https://thelocalswa.au/event/community-indigo-dip-workshop-make-scarborough-blue/ LOCATION:Stirling Women’s Shed\, Stirling Women's Shed\, Building 2\, 173 Gildercliff Street\, Scarborough\, Western Australia\, 6019\, Australia CATEGORIES:Local Creatives Workshops,The LOCALS run events ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://thelocalswa.au/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/WhatsApp-Image-2026-09-06-at-08.41.19.jpeg ORGANIZER;CN="The Locals":MAILTO:hello@thelocalswa.au END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=Australia/Perth:20261111T153000 DTEND;TZID=Australia/Perth:20261111T163000 DTSTAMP:20261022T011318Z CREATED:20261015T033448Z LAST-MODIFIED:20261022T011318Z UID:10000050-1794411000-1794414600@thelocalswa.au SUMMARY:Makers & Me Art Club (3:30pm) DESCRIPTION:The Makers & Me Art Club Sessions are an afternoon activity run by The Locals at the Stirling Women’s Shed – Scarborough.
